What is MyMintie?
MyMintie is a modern dating app that connects singles based on their relationship goals. Whether you're looking for a serious relationship, casual dating, or something in between, MyMintie matches you with people who want the same thing.
How do I create an account?
Download MyMintie from the App Store or Google Play, then sign up using your email, phone number, or Google/Apple account. Complete your profile by adding photos, a bio, and selecting your relationship goals and interests.
Is MyMintie free to use?
Yes! MyMintie is free to download and use. You can create a profile, browse matches, and start conversations at no cost. We also offer premium features for enhanced matching and additional perks.
What age do I need to be to use MyMintie?
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use MyMintie.
Matching & Connections
How does matching work?
MyMintie uses your relationship goals, preferences, location, and interests to show you compatible matches. When you and another user both like each other, it's a match and you can start chatting!
What makes MyMintie different from other dating apps?
Our unique Relationship Goal Matching ensures you only see people who want what you want. If you're looking for a serious relationship, you won't be matched with someone only interested in casual dating, and vice versa.
Can I change my relationship goals?
Yes, you can update your relationship goals anytime in your profile settings. Your matches will be updated to reflect your new preferences.
How do I unmatch with someone?
Open the chat with the person you want to unmatch, tap the menu icon, and select "Unmatch." This will remove the match and delete your conversation.
Profile & Photos
How many photos can I upload?
You can upload up to 6 photos to your profile. We recommend using clear, recent photos that show your face and personality.
What is photo verification?
Photo verification confirms that your profile photos are really you. You'll be asked to take a selfie mimicking a pose, and our system verifies it matches your profile photos. Verified profiles get a blue checkmark.
Can I hide my profile temporarily?
Yes, you can pause your profile in settings. This hides you from potential matches while keeping your account and conversations intact.
How do I edit my profile?
Tap on your profile icon, then tap "Edit Profile." You can update your photos, bio, interests, and other information anytime.
Premium & Subscriptions
What premium features are available?
Premium features include unlimited likes, seeing who liked you, advanced filters, profile boosts, read receipts, and the ability to rewind accidental left swipes.
How do I subscribe to premium?
Tap on your profile, then select "Get Premium." Choose your subscription plan and complete the purchase through the App Store or Google Play.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime through your device's app store settings. Your premium features will remain active until the end of your billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
Refund policies are governed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Contact their support for refund requests.
Safety & Privacy
How do I report someone?
Open their profile or chat, tap the menu icon, and select "Report." Choose the reason for reporting and provide any additional details. Our team reviews all reports.
How do I block someone?
Open their profile or chat, tap the menu icon, and select "Block." They won't be able to see your profile or contact you.
Is my information safe?
We take privacy seriously. Your data is encrypted, and we never share your personal information with other users without your consent. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I control who sees my profile?
Yes, you can adjust privacy settings including who can see your online status, distance, and more in your profile settings.
Account & Technical
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. You'll have a 30-day grace period to restore your account before permanent deletion.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email. We'll send you a link to reset your password.
Why am I not getting matches?
Try expanding your preferences (age range, distance), adding more photos, completing your profile, and being active on the app. Quality profiles with complete information get more matches.
The app isn't working properly. What should I do?
Try closing and reopening the app, checking your internet connection, or updating to the latest version. If issues persist, contact support@mymintie.com.
